Introducing our newest team members, Dan and Harry

Hear from our newest team members, Dan White and Harry Parker, about their first few weeks in the Customer Success team at Streamtime.

Hi, I’m new around here 👋

I joined Streamtime in October, and my first few weeks have surpassed all expectations. It helps that the tool itself has been created in such a way that it makes project management, dare I say it, fun?

But what has truly stood out so far is the people. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of a demo or emailed support, you’ll already know how friendly, attentive, and all-round great the team are here - and I now have the privilege of calling them my colleagues! They’ve been brilliant and oh so patient with my questions and helping me get up to speed.

You may or may not already know that Streamtime is a remote-first company, made up of Team South in Australia and Team North in the UK (where I’m based in Cornwall). Yet despite the time difference, I already feel very connected and welcomed by my counterparts down under. Everyone genuinely cares, and looks out for each other, which is all you can ask for in a workplace.

I’m part of the Customer Success team, soon to be helping onboard new users, whilst doing my best to support anyone who needs a hand. I’m still finding my feet, but really looking forward to leveling up, getting to know more of you, and learning about the work you’re doing. And I hope I can offer the same level of care and support that makes this community so special.

Speak soon,
Dan

What a start!

I’m five weeks into Streamtime, and to be honest, it already feels like much longer (in the best way possible). From day one, it was obvious this place is built differently, a team of incredibly smart people with big ambition and low ego, and a genuine care for making work (and life) better.

Coming in, I knew Streamtime had a reputation for doing things differently. There’s an energy here, a mix of creativity, curiosity, and that “let’s-make-it-work” attitude that makes you roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

I’ve joined the Customer Success team, which means I get to work closely with the incredible studios, agencies, and makers who put Streamtime to use every day. So far, it’s been a beautiful whirlwind of learning, listening, and more than a handful of ah-ha moments (usually followed by a second/third coffee). What’s stood out most is how every conversation circles back to the same thing, helping people do brilliant work without burning out in the process.

Another thing I’ve noticed here is that everyone’s ambition is huge, but the egos aren’t, and that’s a rare combo. It’s been humbling to see how much thought goes into every detail, from a single new feature to a full-blown rebrand. It all comes back to people.

So that’s me. Five weeks in and feeling incredibly grateful. Grateful to be surrounded by a team who genuinely believes in what they’re building, and grateful to play a part in shaping where we go next.

Here’s to good work, good people, and good times ahead.

Cheers,
Harry
