This notice tells you what personal information we collect when you sign up for a Streamtime account, and what we do with it. Our Privacy Policy has the full detail.
WHO WE ARE
Streamtime Australia Pty Ltd ABN 52 654 231 777, Level 17, 383 Kent Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. You can reach us at help@streamtime.net.
WHAT WE COLLECT
When you sign up, we collect your first and last name, the company you work for, your job title, your email address and your phone number. If you take a paid subscription we also collect your billing address. We do not store card details — card payments are processed by Stripe.
We also collect information about how you use our websites and the Software: your IP address, device and application information such as operating system, browser type and version and language settings, the pages you visit, when you visit them and how long you stay, and information from cookies and similar technologies on your device.
We may also receive information about you from other people using the same Streamtime account, or from third-party applications you choose to connect to it.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
- To create and manage your account, and to identify you
- To set you up, support you and answer your questions
- To process payments and handle billing
- To meet our obligations to you under the Streamtime Licence Agreement
- To send you product updates, training and marketing — you can opt out of marketing at any time
- To improve the product, and to understand how it is used
- To meet our legal obligations
If you do not provide this information, we may not be able to give you an account or provide some or all of the Software.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We share personal information with the service providers who help us run Streamtime — hosting, payments, support, analytics and similar. They are named, with what they do and where they process information, at streamtime.net/legal/subprocessors.
We may also disclose personal information to regulators or law enforcement where we are required to, and to a purchaser if we sell or restructure the business. Section 10 of the Privacy Policy sets out the full list.
WHERE IT IS STORED
All of our production systems are located in the United States. Your account information is stored and processed there at all times — not only when the AI features are used. Sections 9 and 12 of the Privacy Policy explain this and the safeguards that apply, including the standard contractual clauses we rely on for customers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
THE AI FEATURES
If you use the Streamtime AI assistant, the content of your conversation — including any records retrieved from your account in order to answer you — is processed in the United States, and a copy of the conversation is kept for 30 days and then deleted. Our AI providers are contractually prohibited from training their models on your information.
If you connect an AI assistant of your own through our MCP server, that assistant belongs to a provider you have chosen, not to us. Your information goes to them on their terms, and we have no control over what they do with it.
ACCESS, CORRECTION AND COMPLAINTS
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Our Privacy Policy explains how, and also explains what additional rights you have if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, New Zealand or Canada.
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, you can make a complaint using the form at streamtime.net/privacy-complaint. We will acknowledge it and respond within 30 days. The Privacy Policy also lists the privacy regulator in each of the countries we operate in, if you would rather go to them.
